AUDITIONS

Auditions will comprise:

Two-octave ascending and descending major scales in all keys up to 4 sharps and 4 flats

Two contrasting pieces of applicant's choice - may be orchestral excerpts, parts of solos, etudes, etc.

Sight reading

String auditions are ongoing; wind, brass, and percussion auditions are held only as needed​.

Interested players should contact the personnel manager.

Southwest Washington Symphony is a group of local amateur musicians who continue to grow in their musicianship through

rehearsal and practice. Musicians interested in joining the Southwest Washington Symphony are encouraged to contact the

Personnel Manager for more information, and to arrange for an audition.
